Deaf writer, Mark Drolsbaugh, has assembled thirty-seven others to share their stories and poems and to shed light on the hard of hearing experience. Each has their own unique perspective, sometimes differing radically from the others. Some advocate sign language while others cochlear implants. But all share a common goal and know what it means to be on the fence – hovering somewhere in between the deaf and hearing worlds.
