This is an excellently produced, colourful book to be used to introduce signing to hearing children, featuring Olli, a little monkey, who loves to sign. It includes sections about sign language for the teacher, parent or older child, as well as colourful and expressive photographs of children signing a useful basic, everyday vocabulary. Each of the 100 or so signs also has a clear written description. The vocabulary is then woven into four illustrated stories featuring Olli and his family, which can be read to children while they sign along.
