Many deaf children who cannot achieve good spoken language can develop to their full language potential in sign. This pack is an important breakthrough, offering a standardisation of the procedures and methods for conducting an assessment of a child’s BSL. Sign linguists and a speech and language therapist at City University have designed this colourful and user-friendly pack which includes: test video with a choice of northern and southern dialects; full colour plastic laminated booklet wiro-bound with stand up easel; full colour plastic laminated vocabulary flashcards; a testers' manual and score sheets. It is aimed at children 3-11 years, for use by teachers of the deaf, educational psychologists, speech and language therapists and deaf instructors, whose jobs are to monitor and develop children's sign language.
