Benard Bragg, an accomplished actor, director, playwright and lecturer, tells the story of his life through a series of stories that are sometimes humerous, sometimes painful, sometimes touching and sometimes totally outrageous.
Born deaf of deaf parents, Bernard Bragg's early dreams were of using the beauty of sign language to act. `Lessons in Laughter' recounts how he starred in his own television show, helped found The National Theatre of the Deaf in the USA and travelled world-wide to teach his acting methods. Bernard Bragg is Artist-in-Residence at Gallaudet University.
