A cleverly devised CD-ROM aimed at deaf children and their parents and therefore does not have a voice-over. It is a fun way, not only to develop communication and language, but also to exercise the child's powers of spatial sense and memory. A variety of scenes filled with colourful cartoons and characters are presented. When an object or person is "clicked" with the mouse, a video clip appears and the sign is presented. There is also a quiz. The CD-ROM provides hours of interactive structural learning and shared fun. It has proved popular with some Level 1 students. For Windows 95, 98, 2000 and XP. Not suitable for MAC.
