Coding/Transcription/Deaf Children Developing Sign

These are the two reports of a research project, the primary aim of which was to develop a transcription and coding system and use it in order to analyse the emerging sign language in deaf children in deaf homes. The results show that deaf children learning to sign by the age of three years show that they are capable of learning all the uses of language which hearing children achieve in speech.
