Assessing BSL Development Receptive Skills Test

This is the first standardised test of sign language to be published anywhere in the world. It is the outcome of a research project undertaken in the Department of Language and Communication Science, City University London.

The test is designed to assess deaf childrens understanding of BSL grammar. It is suitable for use by both Deaf and hearing practitioners working with deaf children from 3 to 11 years of age.
