Step1 –The first DVD welcomes you to the beautiful language of BSL, a language used by approximately 50-70,000 people in the UK.  this DVD was produced by Colin Hall in response to the many students he has taught over the last 13 years.  Designed for complete beginners and false beginners, whether you have recently joined a class, are thinking about doing so or just wish to refresh your signing skills, this interactive DVD will get you started.

Step 2  - The second DVD in the series of 'First Steps British Sign Language" series consists of vocabulary needed for a good level one standard of BSL and will enable you to communicate with a native BSL on a range of simple everyday topics such as hobbies, work, the weather, describing people etc. You will learn new vocabulary and then see a conversation incorporating it and/or someone signing information about themselves using vocabulary from the section.  There are also tests to enable you to check your learning progress.

Step 3 - The last DVD in the series of three completes all of the learning material needed for a good basic knowledge of sign language.
The series of three DVDs is designed for complete beginners and false beginners to give you the skills needed to communicate with a BSL user on a range of everyday topics such as exchange of names, addresses, hobbies, work, family and so on.
